Another Weigh In Day and Saturday Evening Struggles…

We’re still at 182 and holding… My clothes are getting looser everyday so I am not too worried about the scale. Sometimes it takes time for the body to re-adjust and the weight loss to show, especially now that I am also training 3 X a week and hopefully building some muscle.

My official weight stats:

Highest Weight: 205 (just before I got Covid in November)

Weigh in #1 on 01/06/24: 191

Weigh in #9 on 03/02/24: 182

Still 23 off and 27 to go!

Saturday Evening Struggles…

I had to do the rare mid-day update to a blog. But tonight I am really struggling here. For some reasons it’s Saturday Nights that are the hardest for me to stay on my new way of eating (sic diet).

Is it because it’s the weekend?? Or because time was when Saturday Night was Date Night. Or just MAYBE, because it’s weigh in day, and I would have an entire week to correct any diet mistakes I make today?

I think it’s a little of each, but mostly for me it’s because I know I have a 7-Day eraser in front of my to get it right..

So am I cheating tonight? I am not yet sure… I’ll let you know when I log my dinner for today, check back to see!

Brunch

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a bowl of cereal, and it was delish!

1 cup Total cereal

1/3 small banana

2 strawberries

12 blueberries

1/2 cup lactose free milk

black coffee

Snack

1 power crunch bar – strawberry

Dinner – decided to go “slightly” off but no take out!

2/3 cup small shells pasta

3 oz ground beef

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1/2 shredded carrot and broccoli

1 T parmesan

2 T mozzarella

Snack

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1/2 cup pineapple

2 T granola

2 T sliced almonds
