Personal Trainer – Session 3

Today was Freaky Friday at the Gym

I arrived and got on the Treadmill for my 10 minute warm up, then went to look for my trainer. He was in his office on a conference call, and asked me to wait for a few minutes. So, I got in the bike and did 12 minutes, during which time a police officer came in adn wanted to look at their CCTV’s. Apparently there had been a couple fighting in the side lot and they wanted to see the recording.

Then Eric came over to tell me he was stuck on this mandatory meeting call that was not scheduled, so we couldn’t do our workout as planned. He is also the gym manager, so he could not get out of being on the call.

I did 6 minutes on the elliptical (I wanted to do 10 but 6 was all I could manage), and went home to crawl back into bed with my kitties! AND – While I was Kitty Cuddling…

CNN Contacted Us!

Linda and I are so excited! A CNN reporter reached out to us to interview us for an article she’s writing about cats. HOW EXCITING! First The Washington Post article, and now CNN!!

Breakfast: Pre-Workout

1 large Kodiak Power Cakes Muffin – made with banana and blueberries

recipe is on the box and super easy!

The Workout: Just Cardio Today

10 minutes on Treadmill

12 minutes on the Bike

6 minutes on the Elliptical (1 minute longer than Wednesday!)

Lunch: Post-Workout – Veggie Scramble

2 brown free range eggs

1 cup assorted vegetables (mushrooms, shredded carrots & broccoli, jalapenos)

1 mini bagel

1 tsp butter

1 grapefruit

black coffee

Dinner – large salad with Gardein Mandarine Chick’n

Snack – cottage cheese and fruit
