Cardio Day, No Personal Training

Today was supposed to be a training day, but again my trainer (who is the gym manager) got pulled into a meeting. He said it looks like this might be an every Friday meeting, so we’re going to need to change up our training schedule.

So this turned out to be a Cardio Workout Day, which I really need to do more of anyway.

Breakfast: Pre-Workout

1 Kodiak Banana Muffin (home made)

The Workout: Cardio

30 minute Treadmill

10 minutes on the Elliptical (2 more minutes than last time!)

15 minute Bike

Lunch: Post-Workout

AGAIN – I am old and I had to take a post-workout nap first!

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1/2 cup pineapple

1/2 cup mixed berries

2 T granola

2 T sliced almonds

Snack

Dinner – planned – home made chicken soft tacos

Labanderita Carb Control Tortillas

3 oz chicken breast cooked with jalapenos

2 T shredded mexican cheese

2 T whole grain brown rice

2 T Ortega Taco Sauce

Topped with romaine lettuce and grape tomatoes

Snack
