STOP When in PAIN
I already had a sore back and hips, old age. Sciatica coupled with the hip problems I seem to have inherited from my mother, I have been dealing with light chronic pain for a few years now.
As a result of the workouts I think, my back feels like I have a bullet lodged in it at the sciactic nerve, and my hips, both of them now, ache and burn. Even the cardio on the treadmill is a bit much for me some days and I have trouble keeping up my stride.
I think it’s wise to take a break from the gym. My 20-year-old trainer says ok then we’ll work more on mobility. But not today, I slept very very poorly and my back and hip are BURNING…
Listen to your body, and know your limited. Not to baby yourself, but to prevent serious injury.
